ThrownZone Back to the game

ThrownZone Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 September 2026

This is a draft. It describes accurately what the software actually stores and sends, which is the hard part and the part worth getting right first. It is not legal advice. Have a lawyer read it before launch — in particular whether you need a GDPR representative, a UK/EU cookie banner, a CCPA "do not sell" notice, or a data processing agreement with Google, depending on where your players are.

The short version: ThrownZone collects very little, because it needs very little. There is no advertising, no tracking across other sites, no analytics product, and nothing is sold or shared with anybody.

What we collect

When you create an account

WhatWhyKept
Email addressTo sign you in, verify the address, and reset a passwordWhile the account exists
Display nameShown on leaderboards and the marketplaceWhile the account exists
PasswordSign-in. Handled entirely by Google Firebase Authentication — we never see itFirebase's, not ours
Date of birthChecked once, to confirm you meet the age requirementNot kept. We store only that the check passed, and when

If you sign in with Google instead, Google tells us your email address, your name and your profile photo. We do not receive your Google password.

While you play

WhatWhy
Your cards, credits, packs, contest entries and resultsIt is the game
Every transaction, with a reasonThe balance is the sum of the ledger, not a stored number. It is how a dispute gets an answer
Sign-in times, and the length of each sessionShowing you your own play history, and spotting an account being used by somebody who should not have it
Your IP address and browser user-agent, on sign-inRate limiting, and noticing an account being broken into

What we do not collect

No location, no contacts, no device identifiers, no advertising identifiers, no behavioural profile, no data from other sites, and no payment information of any kind — there is nothing to pay for.

Cookies and local storage

ThrownZone sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and there are no third-party trackers on the page.

Firebase Authentication stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in. The game stores a few of your own preferences — your watchlist, your alerts, your place on the leaderboard — in your browser's local storage. When you sign out, that is deleted.

Who else sees it

That is the entire list. Nobody buys data from us, because we do not sell it, and nobody is given it for their own purposes.

What other players can see

Your display name, your position on public leaderboards, your contest results, and any card you list on the marketplace. Nothing else — not your email address, not your account identifier, not your balance, not your collection.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Much of this is already in the app: your wallet, your full statement and your complete activity history are all on your own account page, and they are the same records we hold.

Email support@meatballparmff.com and we will answer within 30 days.

On deletion. When we delete an account we remove the email address, the display name and everything that identifies you. We keep the underlying ledger entries, with the account identifier replaced by an anonymous one, because a shared economy's transaction history cannot be unpicked without corrupting other players' balances — if you sold somebody a card, their card has to keep its history. Those records cannot be linked back to you afterwards.

Security

No system is perfect. If something happens that affects you, we will tell you, and we will tell you what we know rather than waiting until we know everything.

Children

ThrownZone is for adults, and the age check is at sign-up. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child has created an account, email support@meatballparmff.com and we will delete it.

Where the data lives

On servers in the United States. If you are in the UK or the EEA, your data is transferred there under the standard contractual clauses that Google and Amazon publish for their services.

Changes

We will post a new version here and update the date. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app rather than assume you check this page.
