Is ThrownZone Free? Is It Legal?
Short answer: ThrownZone is free, and there is no real money anywhere in it. You can't deposit money, you can't buy credits, and you can't cash anything out. Everything in the game, from entry fees to prizes to marketplace prices, runs on in-game credits.
Is ThrownZone really free?
Yes. Every new account starts with 5,000 credits, a playable five-card Starter lineup and four Kickoff Packs (25 cards in total), plus 100 credits each day you claim the daily login. There's a free contest every week, and the winner takes a pack that can't be bought at any price. There is nothing to purchase.
Can I buy credits or cash out?
No, in both directions:
- Credits can't be bought. There's no store for credits and no payment method on file.
- Credits can't be cashed out. They have no cash value, and cards can't be sold for money.
- Prizes stay in the game: credits, packs and tickets for bigger contests.
New credits only enter the game in three ways (the signup grant, the daily login and contest winnings) and leave in two (the 15% contest rake and the 5% marketplace seller fee). More on where credits come from →
Is ThrownZone legal?
ThrownZone is built so that money is never part of it. There are no deposits, no money entry fees and no cash prizes, which are the things that real-money fantasy and gaming sites are regulated around. It's a game of fantasy football skill played for in-game credits and collectibles only.
This page explains how ThrownZone works; it isn't legal advice. If you have a question about the rules where you live, the Terms set out exactly what the game is, or email support@meatballparmff.com.
Who can play?
- 18 and older, with a verified email
- One account per person: duplicate accounts and accounts moving value between themselves are detected, reviewed by a person and suspended
- Agreement to the Terms and Privacy Policy
Is it fair?
Pack rolls use a cryptographic random source, serial numbers are drawn at random, and scoring and settlement run on ThrownZone's servers, not in your browser. Every card and credit movement is recorded on an append-only ledger, and staff can't create cards, change serials or alter a result. How fairness is enforced →
