GOLD: ONE OF ONE, AND ONLY WHILE IT IS UNCLAIMED

Above all five tiers sits Gold — a 1-of-1 version of every player. It cannot be bought. It arrives only as a 1.2% bonus inside a Kickoff pack or a Rare / Elite / Legendary PLUS, and only while that player's Gold is still unclaimed. When it's gone, it's gone.

Print runs, per starter: Core 600 · Rare 120 · Elite 30 · Legend 10 · Hall of Fame 2. Depth players and defenders print a third as many: 200 / 40 / 10 / 4 / 1. Once 600 are minted, there will never be a 601st — the database refuses a second card with the same serial in an edition.
